Eleven Brindleyplace secures Institute of Directors
The Institute of Directors West Midlands is to further enhance Brindleyplace's reputation as a leading business destination, through its relocation to Eleven Brindleyplace in June.
Currently situated in Victoria Square, the IoD West Midlands has selected Argent's BREEAM 'excellent' Eleven Brindleyplace as a property that reflects the calibre of its professional membership, while also being located within an area of increasing commercial importance for Birmingham and the wider West Midlands region.
The IoD West Midlands regional office and Hub will be based on Eleven Brindleyplace's mezzanine level adjacent to landlord Argent's office, with IoD members benefitting from the use of the building's innovative Meetingspace facilities - a state of the art suite of internally managed meeting rooms, complete with a first class business lounge.
"IoD members enjoy a network of prestigious premises located throughout the UK, Brussels and Paris and identifying locations which offer outstanding levels of service and facilities is paramount," commented John Rider, Regional Chairman for IoD West Midlands. "Eleven Brindleyplace stands out in Birmingham as a building which not only offers the premier facilities and technology that our members expect, but also unparalleled support delivered by the on-site Argent team.
"We are extremely excited about moving not only to this landmark building but also to a location which is increasingly attracting key businesses to the city. For example, it is no accident that BT, Deutsche Bank, and the recently merged head quarters of Deloitte and Drivers Jonas LLP are all to be found within the same complex. We believe the fantastic range of business and leisure facilities on hand locally can only enhance benefits to IoD Members. We will be minutes from the International Convention Centre, the Symphony Hall, Birmingham's attractive canal system and some great restaurants but still within easy walking distance of New Street Station."
Ross Fittall Project Director for Argent added: "We are delighted that the IoD West Midlands has selected Eleven Brindleyplace as its new office location. This is a huge coup not only for the building but also for Brindleyplace as a whole and one which we hope will introduce a new wave of professionals from across the UK and beyond to our award winning estate.
"Eleven Brindleyplace was designed to offer a new approach to the traditional meeting room concept through Meetingspace and in securing the IoD, Europe's largest membership organisation for business leaders as tenants, it is clearly attracting the professional calibre of clients for which it was created. We hope the IoD enjoys its new location and look forward to getting to know the team and IoD members over the coming months."
Opening to IoD members from Monday 21 June, the IoD West Midlands will join existing tenants Argent, Colliers CRE and Friend LLP at Eleven Brindleyplace.
